Pacific Airshow Thundering into Huntington Beach With Jaw-Dropping Lineup of Performances

The 2022 Pacific Airshow (September 30 – October 2) will feature a lineup of world-renowned military aviators and civilian performers. Now in its sixth year, the three-day spectacle is redefining the airshow experience, annually attracting 3 million live spectators, with millions more expected to view Hulu’s LIVE broadcast on Saturday, October 1.

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, celebrating the branch’s 75th Anniversary, are joined by the U.S. Navy Leap Frogs and U.S. Army Golden Knights precision parachute teams, among others. Civilian performances include BlackFly all-electric fixed-wing, vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicle, representing the future of urban air mobility, the Red Bull Air Force, and a host of vintage and modern prop and jet planes pushing the limits of aircraft capabilities.

The Pacific Airshow is highlighted by additional performances, including:

  • U.S. Air Force T6-A 4-Ship
  • U.S. Air Force F-16 Aggressors
  • U.S. Navy F-35C Demo
  • U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet Demo
  • Ace Maker 2-Ship T-33

  • Grumman Albatross
  • Lyon Air Museum B-25 Mitchel Bomber

Pacific Airshow is the only airshow in the world boasting two editions; this event in Huntington Beach and a second recently announced on Queensland, Australia’s Gold Coast (August 18 - 20, 2023). To celebrate the expansion, former Australian Air Force pilot and reigning Red Bull Air Race Global Champion Matt Hall is making his debut in Huntington Beach with a performance for the ages.
